If you thought being a Citizen Scientist for a day was fun, why not
become a Certified Citizen Scientist? To become certified, all you have to do is to attend a two-hour training session on
plant identification and the use of GPS, and attend two follow-up sessions. If you do not have a GPS unit, you can borrow
one of ours. We hope individuals or groups will "adopt" specific trails within the park and commit to monitoring
